My 93 year old mother saved a big box of drawings from when I was a pre teen and presented it to me recently. I could not believe it when I opened it and found countless drawings of stylish little models all dressed up in fashionable clothing of the day (bell bottoms and platform shoes). I had a deep fascination with fashion. I thought I would grow up to be a fashion illustrator, but here I am loving fashion photography, a love which has been with me since forever. Its just there, and I know what looks good and what doesn't. I may show up to a shoot in leggings and a hoodie, and the only color I wear is black but I sure know what looks good on everyone else.
